SHE Management
SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) is a core task of DOPCO's business management. DOPCO has implemented an SHE management system as part of its ongoing commitment to preventive actions and safety improvement for personnel and facilities, as well as preserving the environment.

SHE Master Plan

DOPCO is establishing and operating a mid- to long-term master plan to continuously achieve zero accidents.
Safety Systematic process and facility management centered on the site and activities to improve the safety of employees to create a safe workplace.
01Goal of zero Safety accidents
(zero accidents)
The company has achieved zero accident through employees are fully aware of the significance of SHE management and actively participate in SHE activities.

Field-oriented safety management

Engages in field-oriented safety activities to prevent accidents such as field observers and BBS(Behavior Based on Safety) program.

Activities of Establishing safety culture

Operate systems to improve the safety awareness of our members and stakeholders, such as Safety Inspection Day, rewards for accident-free workplaces, and awards for best practices in SHE activities.

Emergency response training

We implement joint emergency training with neighboring organizations such as fire stations on the regular basis, in accordance with emergency plan by emergency type, improving our crisis management capabilities.

We are making every effort to ensure rapid recovery by establishing an emergency recovery system to ensure smooth oil supply in the event of an accident.

02Maintain the highest level of Process Safety Management(PSM)
The company has adopted the Process Safety Management (PSM) scheme stated in the Industrial Safety and Health Act, supplemented by its proprietary PSM support system, known as d-PSM. This systematic management approach ensures that the company maintains a top-level PSM grade.
Graded with “P”, the highest PSM grade Ten out of the 14 workplaces subject to inspection were graded with the highest level of “P” (as of March 2024).

d-PSM (DOPCO’s own-developed PSM support system)

d-PSM is designed to assist users in implementing Process Safety Management (PSM) operations systematically

Strengthening the continuation of PSM operations By reinforcing the management of implement ability in each of the 12 PSM elements, we have established a proactive SHE system.
PSM capacity building In order to concentrate professional Process Safety Management (PSM) capacity, the system facilitates the sharing of employee know-how.
System-based Big Data building The foundation for building big data has been secured to enhance Process Safety Management (PSM) execution in the process of digital transition.
03SHE Regulatory Framework
We have established clear work standards related to SHE and regulations/procedures/operation standards for each element, and adhere to them as a safety guide for all activities.
All areas including SHE, facility management, operation management. There are 4 steps of policy, regulation, procedure, and operation standard
Steps Description
Policy Policy goal for company-wide SHE management
Regulation Essential requirements for SHE management
Procedure Operating procedures for SHE management
Operation Standard Operation standards for each organizational unit

Work environment measurement

To ensure a pleasant work environment for employees handling hazardous materials, we engage External professional organization to conduct measurements of any harmful factors around employees working oil storages and pump sites twice a year. The results of these assessments are communicated to our employees and proper improvements have been made accordingly.

Special medical Examination

The entire employees of worksites involved in handling hazardous materials undergo additional preventive medical checkups annually.
These checkups are aimed at preventing or detecting any work-related diseases in an early stage.
follow-up management for possible health issues identified are reinforced as part of our commitment to ensuring the well-being of our employees.

Fugitive emission control

We have implemented a facility that controls the release of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) into the atmosphere with the aim of preventing emissions and safeguarding the health of our employees, visitors, and the local community.

Environment DOPCO has established environmental pollution prevention facilities at each business site to effectively treat pollutants and protect the surrounding environment.
Water pollution prevention Established a sewage treatment facility with the capacity to handle up to 125㎥ of sewage and 1,000㎥ of wastewater per day. This facility operates 24 hours a day. Implemented a more stringent set of internal operating standards than legal standards. In accordance with the internal operational standards, DOPCO conducts monthly water quality measurement at its worksites, demonstrating its commitment to environmental stewardship and compliance.
Soil pollution prevention Monitors each storage tank for any signs of leakage. Inspects the soil samples from the surrounding areas according to the legally required intervals. This proactive approach helps identify any soil pollution at an earlier stage, enabling DOPCO to implement appropriate measures to mitigate environmental impact.
Air pollution prevention Installed a facility designed to minimize and recover VOC emissions from storage tanks and release facilities. This system prevents the atmospheric diffusion of VOCs, reducing potential environmental impacts.
Waste generation minimization Waste at DOPCO is carefully separated based on type and properties, and then stored in designated warehouses until professional agencies collect it for further treatment. This meticulous separation process ensures that waste materials can be recycled to a higher degree, contributing to environmental sustainability.
